Anna AADOM

Anna began her love of dentistry visiting her grandfather’s dental office as a child. She earned an A. S. degree at Wharton County Junior College in Health Information, and has been a Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator for a combined total of over 3 decades! Anna has enjoyed working in General Dentistry as well as specialties in Oral Surgery and Periodontics. She loves helping patients to understand their individual needs and to value the benefits of care. One of her greatest rewards is seeing patients’ smiles of satisfaction. Taking a three-year break from Dentistry, she traveled with her husband overseas for work and enjoyed befriending people of diverse cultures. When she returned, her passion for dentistry was stronger than ever, and she was amazed at the new and progressive techniques and technology in our field. Success to Anna is caring for our patients as a whole so that they feel taken care of!

She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, reading, gardening, and her husband’s cooking!

Darlene AADOM

Darlene has proven loyalty and brings over 19 years of Business Assistant experience from the same dental office in College Station… Whoop! She is happy to show our patients how to make their dental treatments more affordable and how to maximize their benefits. No benefits? No problem! Darlene is happy to present Plan for Health, our Membership Program which offers at least 20% discounts off our standard fees. Darlene has learned the most rewarding part of her career is a family bond that can be formed, not only with our team, but with our patients and their families.

She has enjoyed seeing three and four generations of families grow and live life. Although Darlene, along with her husband and two daughters, has recently moved to our area, they have enjoyed Matagorda Beach for many years. They also love camping and fishing at Somerville Lake. Darlene says that they have no pets for now, but she sees a puppy joining the family soon!

Elsa AADOM

Elsa has been our Practice Administrator for over five years. She earned a B.S. degree in Management Information Science (MIS, Business) from the University of West Florida and has been a Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, SQL Database Administrator, and MIS Supervisor in the Oil and Gas and Manufacturing industries. She also started her Master’s degree in Human Behavior and Conflict Management at Columbia College. She holds a membership in AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers) and appreciates being taught from the ground up by the gurus of dentistry: Linda Miles, Teresa Duncan, Laura Hatch, Mary Horvath, and Andre Shirdan, to name a few. With personal improvement as one of her core values, she has pursued growth and development for our team in the areas of leadership, communication, and time management. With generosity being another core value, Elsa ensures that we partner with many local charities to help our community thrive and grow as well as national and global charities. She has been an active member, volunteer, and sponsor with Bay City ISD CARES, Bay City Public Library, Bay Villa, Brooklyn Library Sketchbook Project, Camp Allen, Holy Cross School, Matagorda County Children’s Museum, Santa Fe Opera, Shell Houston PBS Telethon, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and EYC, St. Mark’s Honduras Medical Mission, The Junior Service League of Bay City, and The Legacy. Along with our doctors, she has created a non-profit fund that will leave a legacy for our community and future students interested in the dental profession.

Elsa enjoys spending time with her grandpuppy Rocky, culinary travel with family and friends, wine tasting and collecting, reading, yoga, and hiking.

Hannah AADOM

Hannah has been in the dental insurance field for over eight years and loves the thrill of the challenge of this ever-changing area of dentistry. Her move from South Carolina to Kingwood, Texas, introduced Hannah to the dental industry. She relocated again recently to Van Vleck which led to her new dental family at Humphries Dental. As our Insurance Coordinator, Hannah has the patient’s best interest in mind and has appealed claims to the highest level when insurance companies are accountable for payment of benefits. Hannah is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and will fill the role of our future Office Coordinator.

She has completed extensive continuing education through The Scheduling Institute, Nierman Practice Management, and Spear Education in many aspects of dental administration. She enjoys her free time with her husband, Marcus, their son, Ethan, and their fur babies Snoofy, Devereaux, and Beebo. Hannah’s hobbies include traveling, reading, and cooking.

Jasmine AADOM

Jasmine is a transfer to our area from Leander and has been one of our newest additions as Patient Care Coordinator. She has also assumed the role of Patient Concierge during the pandemic. This new role ensures that patients are prescreened and following additional safety protocols to protect our patients, our team, and our community. Jasmine’s diverse background from the hospitality and banking industries has helped her to develop excellent receptionist skills and outstanding customer service which are just as important in the dental field.

She aspires to grow with the practice and consistently learn new skills to help improve the oral health of our patients. Jasmine’s personal interests include reading, fishing, star gazing, and spending time with her family, dog, cat, and husband.

Allie RDH

Allie is an alumnus of Bay City High and Wharton County Junior College, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is also Nitrous Oxide and Diode Laser certified. Building relationships with patients and helping them create beautiful, healthy smiles are her favorite parts of being a hygienist. Allie believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to better overall health.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and family, shopping, and playing with her fur babies, Stella and Sadie. A fun fact about Allie is that she has a twin sister who is also a dental hygienist!

Christina K RDH

An alumnus of Sweeny High School, Christina K has been a hygienist for over fifteen years, earning her degree in the Dental Hygiene Program at Darton College in Georgia. Christina feels she has found her calling in dentistry and enjoys getting to know and care for our patients every day. She has spent over a decade at Humphries Dental and has shown her dedication to our patients and team through her leadership roles, continuing education, and additional certifications in Nitrous Oxide and Diode Laser. When not at work, Christina spends her time with her husband, Gary; her daughter, Olivia; and her extended family. She is an avid crafter and reader, enjoys outdoor cycling and hiking, and loves scuba diving.

Frances RDH

Originally from Edna, Frances is a graduate of Wharton County Junior College's Dental Hygiene Program and brings over ten years of experience to our team. Fran has expanded her credentials to Nitrous Oxide and Diode Laser certification. In addition to patient care, she shares the importance of oral care at health fairs and school presentations. Fran also is charged with our inventory of OraCare Health Rinse kits. Her goal is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible while striving to make every visit a positive experience.

She says that each patient can expect a gentle and thorough exam using the latest state-of-the-art technology. In her spare time, Frances enjoys cheering on the Aggies and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.

Kristina S RDH

Kristina S is a Wharton native and Wharton County Junior College graduate, earning her degree and license as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been serving patients for over 15 years and at least five years at Humphries Dental where she earned her Diode Laser certification. She is also Nitrous Oxide certified. As Kristina helps patients to improve their smiles, she focuses especially on quality care and patient comfort. Her rapport with patients is unparalleled and her excellent verbiage helps patients to understand each step of their professional hygiene visit.

Kristina’s personal interests are reading and spending time outdoors with her husband, Robert, and two daughters, Karli and Kinsley.

Josie RDA

Josie is one of our newest additions and has added her bilingual skills, people skills, and 15 years of dental assisting experience to our team. Josie is Nitrous Oxide certified and plans to add Expanded Functions to her skill set. A five-star patient experience is very important to Josie, and she ensures that the youngest of patients have a positive foundation beginning at their first visit. Besides being a Registered Dental Assistant, one of Josie’s passions is running which keeps her busy on the weekends training for half marathons. Josie is the proud mother of Maci and Matthew and has an adorable grandson, Noah.

Lisa RDA

Lisa is a graduate of Bay City High and a veteran Registered Dental Assistant on our team for almost 20 years! She began her dental career as our Hygiene Assistant and was promoted soon afterward. She is a natural and is well versed in her clinical skills and knowledge, holding numerous certifications in OSHA, Nitrous Oxide, Damon®Orthodontics, and Cerec® Aces, to name a few.

Lisa has served as OSHA Co-Director, Source Leader of our Operative Department, and Coordinator of our Operative supplies and inventory. She also continues to learn the latest advancements in dental care and technology. She is the mother of three beautiful grown daughters Ashley, Alyssa, and Alyson. As a family, they are all excited about the lovely addition of another generation: Lisa’s first grandchild, McKinleigh Amelia.

Sonia RDA

Sonia is an alumnus of Bay City High and interned at our practice through the Health Science Technology Education Program (HST). The HST Program is designed to provide students the opportunity to explore careers in healthcare. Sonia was also a DECA (Distributive Education Club of America) student and our employee during her Senior year of high school, winning the DECA Employee of the Year. She joined our practice as a permanent employee after graduation, learning Infection and Hygiene Assistant duties. She also earned her title as Registered Dental Assistant with these additional certifications: HIPAA, OSHA, X-Ray, and Nitrous Oxide. One of Sonia’s favorite duties is Orthodontic assisting. She is cross-trained in both clinical and business duties and is the coordinator of Medical Clearances and Post Op Followups to ensure that our patients with specific medical conditions and dental procedures are healthy and safe. Sonia is fluent in Spanish and helps make our bilingual patients feel comfortable. Outside of work, Sonia is the mother of a beautiful and charismatic little girl, Catalina. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Miggi, Catalina, and family. She believes her purpose in life is to serve others and overall be happy! Theresa RDA

Theresa truly loves her job and has contributed almost 15 years to our team. She is a graduate of Bay City High and has dual loyalty to her children’s alma mater at Van Vleck High. Theresa has completed numerous continuing education courses during her career to learning upcoming, cutting edge technology in the areas of restorative and cosmetic services. Some of Theresa’s certifications include OSHA, Nitrous Oxide, Damon® Orthodontics, and Cerec® Aces. She also coordinates Lab and Ortho Cases for the Operative Department and has cross-trained to back up our Business Department as needed. Theresa has excellent people skills, helping patients feel welcome, relaxed, and comfortable.

What she loves best about her work is being surrounded by a wonderful team who provides quality care using top-notch technology for our patients. Theresa has been married for over 25 years and has three children (Taelor, Richard, and Morgan) and one delightful grandson (Ashton). She enjoys spending her extra time with family and friends.
